besides koni and tockico when is kyb coming out... and whats up with tokico it seams a year ago they were the hot setup now it seams that users report they go bad after 12 months, i am just looking for some good and afordable...thanks,louis

koni's and tokico's are the main option rite now... the kyb agx's are comign out around august...

I just tried to buy the KYB's from Tirerack, they tell me availability is October/November. On the plus side thay have the Konis in stock for 133$ ea w/reasonable shipping charges.

I believe you can get the KYB GR2 for the Max now. It's just the AGX that you havfe to wait for.

I'd rank the shocks like this...

from worst to best...

Monroe
Gabriel
Tokico
KYB GR2
KYB AGX
Koni (hard to adjust rears)
Cattman Coilover setup (I think those use AGX from another application... somthing I read somewhere... I could be wrong).

The GR2 will probably be somewhat stiffer than the Tokico...

They're from an Eclipse IIRC.
