Chernmax 6th Gen Dyno Results

OK, most have been waiting to hear the dyno results of my 6th Gen:

Mods on car include:
Injen CAI
UDR Pulley
Hotshot Headers (From Alti SE-R)
Greddy SP-II catback
APEXi-Super AFC-II computer
Ground wiring kit

I had the dyno done at Swift Racing Technologies (SRT) in Beltsville, MD
Temp was 92 degrees with 20% humidity

The first 2 pulls where to tune the Apex

The 3rd pull was FTW!!!

WHP 253.1 (AT THE WHEEL!!!)
TQ 249

Big thanks to RedlineMax, DA-Max and SRT for getting my 6th Gen to this point. RedMax will post the actual Dyno sheet sometime tomorrow because they did not give me a printout but a computer disk and RedMax has the program software to print it so I gave him the disk.

OK, I'm out of here...

Great numbers!

SAE corrected? Where was peak hp...tq? Did they take it to fuel cut? What A/F did you tune for?

SRT typically gives out the STD corrected numbers (they did that at our dyno meet in April and on previous occassions), so I'd assume SAE corrected is something like 3-4% lower.

Those are decent numbers for a 5AT VQ35.

I was expecting around 240, the first pull was 243, DA-Max treaked the Apex and the second pull was 249, One last tweak and the 3rd and final pull was 253.1

Today was a good day...

And the burning question now is, are those numbers quoted in SAE smoothing 5? And do you have the runfiles?

RedMax has them because I don't have the software to display them. He will post them late today...

how is STD lower when the correction factor is more than SAE? Or did you mean STD is lower than uncorrected numbers?

BTW nice numbers, I'd like to see the chart also.

It plays a part with humidity, do you want my runfiles? On average it's less than 1% (SAE vs STD in my area) (bout 2 whp)

A few of my run file data.

215.28 SAE
213.65 STD

233.66 SAE
232.24 STD

233.01 SAE
231.59 STD

HUMIDITY. plays a big role in STD and SAE. What were the run conditions? I had between 8% and 12% on all of my runs

Could they email u the run files?

Thease would be great as you have every mod out for the car and Technosquare could use ur car as the baseline hi-end tune.

Why is smoothing set to 5??? Most I have seen are set to 0. Remove those graft it is confusing... And they do not represent the true power output that was displayed at SRT Engineering. This is the reason I don't want to give my run files to others...

smoothing is set to 5 because thats what it should be set too. It reads higher with no smoothing because little spikes are everywhere and it doesn't represent the true power output. Looks like mid 230's is the correct.....not 250!

I saw them and they looked a lot more accurate than some spikey choppy 0 smoothing graph.

Well, I had both sets up; one set with smoothing 5 and one set with smoothing 0, but he insisted that everything be taken down.

looks like SRT displayed the wrong cars files then because runfiles dont lie and those numbers look to be exactly what every other 3.5 Auto dynos with his mods. 230ish whp that is, I didn't figure 250 was accurate.
