Aftermarket struts durability?
Aftermarket struts durability?
Any input I can get regarding the durability of aftermarket struts would be appreciated.
If I don't go with coilovers, I am strongly leaning towards adjustable struts for auto-x and occasional track use.
I guess if you need to rebuild coilover dampers every two years or so, how often you have to replace aftermarket struts?
Springs, yeah I know they last forever....

It also depends on the roads you drive on and how much mileage you put on in a year. There is really no pre-determined limit in terms of mileage or time on coilover shocks or aftermarket struts.
I'd say both should sufficiently survive 3-5 years without incident given a normal 20k annual commute (about 100k life expectancy). They might not blow at that time, but probably won't be performing at their potential
