Active Tuning is A O K with meeeeeeee

So I just recieved my new active tuning grill today and I must say .... wow ..... not only was thier customer service awesome....... but I also received an awesome product to back it up....... the paint job done on this thing is great.... just would like to give praise where praise is due. I got the black on black by the way for all of us with onyx colored cars that were wanting to see what it would look like ..... I guess I am the first up to bat.... being that its like 11pm here in houston ill put it on tomorrow and take pictures for all of you all.....

oh and here are some facts going back to some of the threads that I have been reading

1. I ordered my grill pre-painted and it arrived within 6 days
2. The actual product is awesome

Just giving you guys some insight for all of those wondering

ok drum roll pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeee

one of the things i will recommend being that I have a onyx colored car is to go to your local autozone pep boys ect and buy a can of oem black car spray paint.... i sprayed the inside behind the grill so that the metals behind the grill dont seem dull like they did before the paint.... hope these pictures help you guys in deciding whether or not to purchase I would highly recommend it ....... grill looks nice

312 shipped with the pre-paint and powder coat on the grill ...... kinda pricey in my opinon....... but i factored in the shipping time customer service and overall look and decided it was worth it

Very nice grill indeed.

One question. On the redline grill there is a gap at the bottom (small cutout on the bumper) where the original grill was sitting. Is the hole visible with this grill or does it somehow cover it? Its kind of hard to tell with black color.

Also my understanding is that one can choose a different color for frame and mesh. Correct?

Please advise.

The balck on black grill is, by far, my favorite. This is how the Max should have looked from the factory.

Why does that first picture look like there is a badge or logo at the bottom center of the grille? And then, it's not in the other two pic's.

there is a minor gap at the bottom but the black on black has seemed to hide it rather well..... i didnt expect for it to fit EXACTLY the way the stock grill does being that its an after market part..... im good with it though way better than that repulsive tooth lookin crap they come stock with...

its not a badge or emblem its the front metal braket that holds the radiator... i went to the local pep boys in my area and got OEM paint and painted the entire inside behind the mesh because the metals looked rather dull and were very visable ..... i would recommend this to ANYONE that does the black mesh ..... its like 5 bux a can and looks 1000000 times better. i believe what you are seeing is just a light reflection that the camera caught when i took the picture.... believe me i dont have a emblem on my grill..... not my flava..... other than that i must say.... my grill is HAWT !

Thanks for the positive comments! This is the Maxima.org grille. It was designed based on feedback received here, so yes it does cover the recess in the bottom center of the bumper.

There is one silver and one red currently in stock since we had a few extras from our first batch. We will always try to paint a few extras when we can, but 6 days will be the exception more than than the rule unfortunately.

Other than those two pre-painted grilles we are currently waiting on another batch so there may be some longer waits for other colors at this point in time.

I dont know..... to me I didnt like the look of the burger on the mesh ....... but thats just me ........ i wanted to go for more of a simple clean look...... i already took off my front license plate which made the whole front end look a hell of a lot better.... and i intend on tinting my front headlights and fod lights...... then with my gloss black rims on the way ........ i should be good to go ..... but ill see if i can get my hands on a burger and take pictures to give you guys an idea of what it would look like
