I am having trouble choosing a personalized license plate. In California, we are allowed up to 7 letters/numbers. I have narrowed it down to 3 plates: LQQKFST (Look fast with Qs that look like eyeballs)
DEUS EX (Deus ex is from the litereary term Deus ex Machina. So, Deus ex is on a Maxima . . get it??? hehe)
IMADEUS (My name on here is Deus, so Im saying I'm a Deus. Also, Im a musician, and it sounds like Amadeus, or Mozart's middle name)

I liked the IMADEUS, and ironically enough, when I first read it, I did read it as 'Amadeus'.......

Deus Ex, made me think you were divorced, like "hey there, I'm deus' ex, and you are?"

"LQQKFST" hands down. I like the eyeball effect of the Q's. As for IMADEUS, I read it as "I made us" or "I made US(A)" and would think you're either very spiritual or patriotic. "Look fast" IMO is perfect for your car.

Personally, I prefer Deus Ex ... It's very clever (if you get it, anyway), and more of an in-joke.... and will make you easier to recognize at any sort of car-related gathering.

IMADEUS is a nice runner-up, since you're a musician.

I like "DEUS EX" (it's clever), with "LQQKFST" (a bit more mundane) as runner up.

I think "IMADEUS" isn't really all that clear, and can be misinterpretted (I think "I made us" would be a much more common reading than "I'm a Deus").

because when you "accidently" run red lights and a camera is there DOT cant really read your plate.
in japan they also hindge lic plates under their bumper.
so when your on the highway at you hit over 40mph
the plate flaps and folds under your bumper so it doesnt show and when you slow down it falls back down into place.
its a old jdm secret. ;] might work with CHERNS bumper. wont work with ours.

 

well, I would say none, everyone that I know that see one of these plates always makes fun of the driver. A guy in my office has one that says ISUEBIG thats not too cool though.

Once you pointed it out, it made total sense! Now, I'm not sure which! Deusex, still makes me think ex-wife thing!

 

As a front plate that would rock! Imagine someone looking in their rear view mirror and reading that. As a rear plate, would he forever be asked 'hey, what's your plate mean'?

In Ontario we have the queens crown that can be used as a place marker.

For example my lisc plate says

XXXX*999

where XXXX are letters * is the queens crown and 999 are the numbers.

I go to www.dmv.org and go to california, license plates, personal plates, and purchase. U get to see what they would look like. Pretty nifty.

i wouldnt go with lookfast even if it was available because your car is fast but people gonna bash on it like Ohhh look guys that guy is slow but he looks fast... you know what i mean? Its like the reverse of reality. People put stickers on to look fast, fast cars are fast they dont need to state that. Just my opinion.
As far as other options I saw a tag that said "13at110" hence 13.0@110 mph or something like "300whp" I'd throw some numbers out there to show what ppl are messing with lol

HAHAHAHA!!, sometimes I think the same thing, but some ARE cool.

My first name is Patrick and years ago I had a vanity plate that said "PATRIX"..........man, I got made fun of on a daily basis. I was sorry I got it after day one. It was cool for like 10 minutes and that was it.
