The paint is clean and shiny. You have a nice base to work with and you have some tasteful mods.

I am not much of a fan of those wheels and a drop is needed, along with the strange mix of tail pieces. I would also pay Michael to smoke your clear corners (or pay $$ for UK ones). Those stand out a lot. Maybe it's just the picture.

Nice pics man, looks very nice!

Question though, whats that "heresmymind" and "HMM" censor over the license plate mean? I know it's a censor but a black line will do fine...

the problem isnt so much money but finding them. They are not easy to come by. You can get the new for $150-$200 each I think.

Nice but the headlights and fog lights aren't to my liking. The car is too square, including the tail lights to have that obvious circular lights in the front. It just looks off. Like a Yogo with a tail fin.

alright the e36healdights i picked up for 50$ shipped off ebay, some kid totaled his 325 in the back or something. and the stock bmw frames were cracked. But since we dont need them it didnt matter. Major steal right there. the foglights with halos/projecters were 45$ shipped off ebay also. the projecter is amazing. though they are squeezed very tightly in to the area if you drill holes into the metal frame for the brackets.

VE tails are the tail lights used on 92-94 SE model maximas.
Stock side lenses are clear with an amber reflector.
UK corners are darkened with no bulbs or amber

Hey Micheal, did you paint your corners on the inside, or outside of the lens? Also what is that messed up looking trim around the left side of the corners? Glue?

I paint the outside...those are some I did for someone else. I use the same clear I paint cars with but add a paint mixture to it for the tint. It will not fade like spray can tint etc.

The trim looks funny because the tape is still on it. I tape the trim up so its not sprayed with the lens.

Well I'm painting mine soon with a light coating of VHT Nightshades. I want them to look pretty close to the ones in those pics. I am doing the outside of the lens. I'm also going to be using clearcoat after I'm done. Any tips or suggestions?

Thanks.

Thanks.

you should probabaly handle any more questions in PM so we dont ***** up this guys thread.

I dont have any suggestions on VHT though...I really have no experience with rattle can stuff. I do know VHT is darker so you will need to do light coats or you will make them too dark. Expect it to fade in a few weeks if your car stays in the sun. I have seen and heard that night shades fades...it may take longer than a couple of weeks but it will eventually fade although clear should help some.

Amen to the cheap buffer, I got one for $5.17 after my employee discount at work...does a decent job too especially if the car already looks like new
