so i was looking through hte pic thread and someone was stating that you can tell if you have the hlsd by the peddels?

It's easier to change the pedals than it is to change the VIN..

Check the transaxle code. It is located on the firewall back right of the engine bay. It is a metal plate with your VIN and other things embossed on it. If the transaxle code ends in "H" you have HLSD, if it ends in "A" you have an open diff.

You can also call Nissan USA with your VIN and they will tell you exactly what your car came out of the factory with.

The exact codes to look for are:

HLSD - RS6F51H

Open - RS6F51A
