I'm wondering the same thing. Either he did really good and he's sleeping the excitement off or he did really bad and he's trouble shooting his car like a *****. I'm really curious because he should be running 95+mph in the 1/4 if the ECU makes the power he says it does.

I use to be able to chirp my 17s quite easily in 3rd. Sometimes I would hit 2nd so hard that my tires would spin for well over a 1 second. The tires were Sumitomo HTRZIIs. With my much lighter 16s and all season V-rated Yokos, I just chirp 2nd and get nothing in 3rd. I think flat, low, and wide profile tires are awful for straightline acceleration. They don't hook for crap. It makes sense though because the sidewalls are extremely hard on these tires.

Chirping is that high pitched sound you get when tires spin a little before they grip.

My 95 gxe auto would chirp from 1st to second all the time after adding the pop charger and cat less exhaust. But the heavy *** 5th gen will not.
