The button on my parking brake is slowley disappearing. What use to stick out almost a half-inch from the handle is now not even half of that.

The buttons full travel is the same (if you press it deep into the handle), but it doesn't return to the "stock" level.

I know I desperatly need to change my rear brakes (doing so on Saturday), but is this an indicator of brake wear, e-brake cable problems or just something strange?

 

u might have to adjsut the cable from under the console.....but do it after ur brakes.......need any help let me know....i have the FSM
