The key to this sale is "OEM style" which leads me to believe it's not a Nissan part. And this seller only has no comments from any buyers, oh and wait one more, starting bid at $120 painted? Smells kind of funny to me.

Here's the response I got from the seller:

"OEM parts are purchased from the manufacturer, in this case Nissan, and then resold at a less expensive rate, with the other compny's branding. That's the best way I can answer. For a better answer, try http://www.webopedia.com/TERM/O/OEM.html.

Typically, this is done on a drop ship basis, where I get an order, receive payment, and then contact the supplier for the item. In the past I've done this via catalog sales, swap meets, etc. Now, we've decided to venture into the EBay market place.

I will contact the supplier to see if I can get an actual picture of the product, versus the pics they supply.

I hope that answers your question. Feel free to contact us with any more questions you may have"

i also am fishy about this item especially since he is a new seller to ebay. i saw the item and emial him and this is what they wrote back:

I'll see what I can do. We had been selling these in trade shows, flea markets, etc via a catalog. We have an out of state supplier that takes care of our supply, order fufillment, tracking....everything, so unfortunately I can't step out to the warehouse and snap one off for ya. I'll contact them in the morning

has anyone gotten it thru courtesy parts nissan? just wondering if they were good to work with and also how much did they pay for shipping? let us know if anyone gets it thru that person on ebay.

i just a email from courtesy parts nissan and the item is 279 and shipping is around 25 so your looking to spend 300 for a painted part so its not bad at all

Sounds Suspect. All The Colors Are Honda/acura Colors And There Are No Pics Of The Spoiler Detatched From The Car.

I'm sure the G-35 spoiler sold are made the same way, and the one I purchased on Ebay motors was the same, prepainted, third brake light and is of superb quality, to this day it still looks new after almost 2 years...

Here's another ebay 07 spoiler for $210.00 and the guy has superb feedbacl!!!

I was in last week getting my 1 year check-up, and was looking at the new '07 at the dealer, and we ended up talking about the spoiler. He said he could get me one painted to match from nissan.

So apparently you can get it, and it will fit our Max's (I have an 05).

Note if you guys already have a factory lip it may have to come off to get the 07 wing to fit right. My dealer here is looking into it for me. This will require paint for the holes on the lip are on the front of deck lid and not the top.

It's not an OEM nissan spoiler. It is aftermarket. They use an idendical style and paint it.

My parts guy says it won't fit. He will call me when one comes in to check it out.

any one notice that the color list is not of maxima ... or even nissans color list.....

even if it is a sample; this seller doesn't seem to be the brightest crayon in the box.
