Car shaking while idling now, service engine light on now too
Guys, all of a sudden now, my car is now shaking real bad when idling and when the AC is running. If I turn the AC off, the shaking seems to get better. It feels like the engine is about to shut off. What do you think is wrong?? My guess is that my Alternator needs to be replaced. Any ideas? I have an appt. with Nissan tomorrow and I have an extended warranty, but they better not give me any B.S. about not covering it. I know dealerships always try to find ways to get out of warranty work. I have installed a sub and an amp to the factory Bose stereo so they better not talk about "we not covering it because your sub and amp caused it to go bad" ..... what you guys think it may be?
there is a post o rough idling it sound like you my need plugs or read this

The link isnt working. Well heres an update, I checked my oil and it was low. Funny because I just got an oil change 2 days ago, thats why i decided to check it out. Well, it was low so I added a quart of oil and the shaking went away. But my check engine light is still on. I am wondering if I fixed the problem or if it just isnt showing itself right now. Anyone ever had this problem happen when your oil is low?

After thinking about your issue, there is a engine-oil monitor icon on the console. If your oil pressure is low, it should light up. If it happens again, you may try a gas system treatment. It works for me all the time. Well, except one time for my '04, I let the dealer taking care of it under warranty and it turned out to be a loose CAT.

Im having the same problem. I went to check my 04's air filter becuase I wanted to change up to a K&N. I put the box back together, with the stock air filter, and out of no where my car idles VERY rought and caughs every time I push down hard on the gas, any clues whats wrong guys, thanks for the help. I was thinking maybe something happend to the air-mass-flow sensor.

True that, according to the manual either the procedure has to be done or you have to disconnect the battery for 24 hours.
