I bought the Otto FSB for my 03 MAX on Ebay, but they have become a little harder to find. Check this website. They list them, but I don't know anything about the vendor. $52.19 is the price listed.

Good Luck!

Some say that the FSTB does very little, but you could tell when it broke by a change in handling?? or did you hear the bar moving around under the hood?

Mine's still going strong after 2+ years. You could probably have both pieces re-welded for pretty cheap and save some money over buying an entire new bar.

Well that's in a way, kind of what's nice about it, Drew. It's cheap, and how long did you have it for until it broke? Pay another 25 bucks or so off ebay, and save yourself some money.

They've got some nice designs as well. SPW makes an ebay one that looks just about and as good as Stealin's. I did at one point desired to locate a Cattman TI bar, but looking back that would have been a dumb waste of 200 bucks.

......or just buy new brackets and reuse the bar, that's where the problem looks to be. Good luck man.

Toss that busted a$$ pot metal knockoff and get a real FSB. Pick up the Otto bar for around $50.00 and don't look back. It's well made and nice looking to boot. All you ever hear on the org about the OTTO bar is praise.

I'd be happy if that happened to me. Just another excuse for me to fire up my MIG. Really, any shop could weld it for $10. If you want nice welds, avoid a muffler shop unless it's high end. Try a machine shop.

atleast if your going to talk about the bar put the right name down its FTSB not FSB....FSB stands for Front Sway Bar while FTSB stands for Front Strut Bar
