F/S: Rebuilt 5 speed Transmission in NC!!! 50 miles on the rebuild, Has got to go!

I have a rebuilt transmission from my 96. The carrier bearings in the differential in the trans went out.. like they do on alot of 4th gen transmissions. So they were replaced at a reputable shop. I have the receipt, cost over $1000. They said everything else looked good when they had it apart. I wrecked the car approx. 50 miles after I got it back from them. Looking to sell it for $950 OBO.

I'm surprised you still have this. I constantly have people asking for manual trans. List it on ebay

Yeah, not really much interest on it, not sure why. Of course it was buried in another thread. I really need this thing gone.

The reason I am asking what I am asking is because it has just been rebuilt. If it was not I would not be asking that much. But I spent 1500 on rebuilding it with new carrier bearings which is the reason why I had it rebuilt.

I am in need of a rebuilt tranny because of the same bearing failure. This would be a perfect buy for me...if i weren't halfway across the country. If you at all interested in shipping it let me know, i'm willing to pay the costs. I'm at 57069 if you are able to get a quote. I'm assuming it'd be shipping via crate. If not, good luck with the sale!

Just dropping in my 2cents. If you wanted to ship this trans UPS will take it and ship it. Just amke sure you drain it of fluids and wrap up in shrink wrap. It weighs in at 75lbs or so. Should cost around 65$ with the extra insurance.

If you're going to ship it, I would suggest using some 2x4's to make a frame around the tranny and then shrink wrap the h3ll out of it.

Here's a free bump.

What's the status on this trans? Is it just the tranny or does it come with any of the other parts. I want to convert my AT to Manual.

BUMP.
This is a great deal people!
Try to find a good transmission on car-part.com or ebay for cheaper.
This one has had the expensive parts replaced and been inspected!
