resonator

I'm going to order a b-pipe off of LSS Exhaust. What does the resonator do? If I get it without the resonator, will it just be really loud?

Yes, the resonator makes your exhaust quieter, check the top sticky for sound clips.

I cut mine out and i have a magnaflow street series muffler and mine sounds fine...
