Finally replacing brake fluid this weekend.

So I've had the car for about 74k miles and this will be the first time I'm replacing the brake fluid. I know I should have done this way before

But anyways, a friend recommends I replace the lines now with some SS ones?

Would it really be necessary to do so?

Some would say that it's better because your brake pedal will feel much firmer during braking and brake fade will virtually be eliminated. But some would say that it is unneccessary for a daily driver and that the brake pedal might be TOO firm.

Good luck with whatever you do

interesting.

I used to do some things (things that got my licensed revoked) back in the day but now my car is utilized for more run of the mill type things so it looks like braided SS lines will be unnecessary for my needs.

Thanks for the input PrjctMax!

For others who have yet to post I'd still appreciate any feedback you'd like to share.

Thanks.

I still need to do that too. Almost 66k and still on original fluid. There's a write up isn't there? I've never bled brakes before.
Are you going with Motul fluid?

I will be using ATE blue, UPS is supposedly delivering it some time today, but I'll have to wait until I can bend my back.
