I ordered another pair of taillights, I got scammed by the first set I ordered and am still trying to get my money back from a different seller...
I should get these next week.

I normally hate the chrome altezzas but I think these will look good in the carbon fiber compared to the ugly stock ones I have. If they dont look good I'll do the skyline mod. Anyone else have a picture of these type of lights on there maxima?

Thouse are the uglyest things ive seen for the max. just buy the clean turn signal ones on ebay and call it aday, looks WAY better and is more practical, plus wont get as much attention from the 5-O

I never got why people weren't satisfied with the "ugly" stockers. They look perfectly fine to me, in fact I kind of like 'em. They look evil.

 

The police won't say anything about those tails....the might pulll him over to say the lights are ugly but thats about it.

Well due to all the hate on these lights I decided to cancel my order. They are for looks and if everyone hates on them why have them right?
I'm going with these instead.

I'd also like to get a y-pipe.

 

I have these and like them alot. And there not RICEY at all, there also not as flashy as they look. I'll show you some pics.

honestly aventerav, if u like the altezzas it really doesn't matter what the other orgs think, honestly its just our hateful opinions. lol if u feel that it looks good, then get them, but if down the road u end up hating them, u can always change it. So if u want to test them out, go for it... we just hate them because for one most of us HAVE put on the Altezzas and liked them less and less, thats why we put on the red/clear. So if u dig Altezzas, by all means put them on, go for the 3rd Gen Altezzas IMHO its the best looking ones.

Well while in the end you should make the car look how you want it, I (and most of the org) approve of those tails much more. Altezzas really clash with most car's styling and are, yes, very played out.

 

Yes and No... i have a 99 so my clear lights are at the bottom.

 

I was talking about the guy buying the lights he's got a 96 so these fit perfect.

 

I may be a lil late with my opinion. However, I agree with you, if you like altezzas, get them. Are you customizing your car for the forum or for yourself? I have black altezzas on my car. Honestly, I have a love/hate relationship with them, lol.. I think it fluctuates with the mood I am in when I look at them. lol. I do like the ones made for 96 Max, unfortunately, they won't fit on my baby unless I change the trunk door which I am not going to go that far. In the meantime, I will keep the altezzas and be happy with my choice. Anyway.. lovingly, this is my 2 cents.

If you love the 96 ones then why not get the ones for you 97? Same style just colors swapped.
