Yah, you know the ones that pop the airbag around the suspensions, protecting it from a collision.

I have no idea what it is either.

Probably means air ride suspension... either way, I've never seen an air ride kit for the I30. Then again, I've never really searched for one cause I would never put that **** on my car.

the first air ride installation I did was with an all in one kit, and soon realized that for the same cost I could have pieced together a better setup on my own. if I were to do it again, it would consist of Universal Air air struts, EAI Innovator valves, quality 3/8 hose and fittings (not quick connect fittings), ViAir compressor, and a five gallon tank.

the mechanical install isnt that bad, but the wiring can get messy. I used the same kit on both a 97 and an 02, its basically universal. most mcpherson air ride (not cylinders or air bags) are designed to fit over a standard strut size (roughly 2.25").

a company from japan named air runner makes some bad *** bolt on kit but there super expensive ( like 4000). i think that was to damn much so i just built my own. i spent a little over 4000 on wheels, tires and air ride system.

2500/4000 is way to pricey for my wallet, even if Air Runner is one of the dopest-most exclusive kits.

I picked up mine through a sponsorship campaign from the Hack Shack for around $800. You shouldnt be looking to go over $1000-$1500 for an air strut setup, especially on your first venture into pneumatic suspension.
