No need for a heat gun, just put them in the overn at 200-250 and let them sit there for about 10mins.
the process is exactly the same as 97-99

IMO, they won't look as good since they are not as clear as the 97-99 headlights. But you will be able to see the black around them.

Its not going to look as noticable as the clear glass or 97-99 headlights, but it wont look that bad either.
Here is a pic of mine when i did it,..



For a free mod, its worth it.

yes you need a heat resitant paint, or basically one that can withstand high heat from the bulbs.
