Why did you buy it if you don't know how it works or how to use it? Shouldn't it come with directions?

I'm not famalier with the mighty bleeder. I have a "Mighty Vac" I bought off the truck that could be used for bleeding brakes..It was about $85. Is this the same thing??
Does it have a clear hose hooked up to a grey pump with a vacuum gauge. I think the gauge reads up to 30 IN. HG....

If it's the same one
1.) Pull the lid on the master cylinder fill it completely.
2.) Attach the hose to the bleeder valve. Connect the little bottle to the pump that came with the kit.
3.)Open the bleeder valve and pump the fluid out. If connected correctly it should pump into the little bottle. Close bleeder valve.
4.)Check the fluid level in the master cylinder.. DO NOT LET THE MASTER CYLINDER GO EMPTY. CHECK THE FLUID OFTEN TO MAKE SURE IT IS FULL/NEAR FULL.
5.)Repeat steps 3-4 until you are satisfied. (There are no more air bubbles or the fluid is clear--Whichever your reason for bleeding is)
6.)Go to the next caliper and repeat steps 2-5.

I think the idea on this one is that you dont have to depress teh brake to bleed it, therefore only needing one person. What you need to do is connect the handle pump to the hose to the collection can to the hose to the bleeder valve on the brake caliper. Why there are so many damn connectors? i have no idea. Got me swinging on this one, but i can see the basic operation.

I have that same pump, unfortunately i do not recommend it for brake bleeding. You have to make sure you have a perfect black fitting on the bleeder valve or you will lose vacuum. The only benefit(if you can call it that) was that it gave my forearms a good workout, from the constant pumping.

Recommend using the old fashioned pumping brakes(hold), open bleeder valve, close bleeder valve, release brakes and repeat.

I don't understand the problem. The theory behind this is someone without shop equipment can bleed brakes without the help of another using a section method. Follow the steps above and it should be cake. Just make sure the hose is secured to the bleeder good enough so it can provide a vacuum.

I have used this for bleeding brakes and clutches. I have also used a MC bleeder as well. Neither "lost" vaccuum. The Autozone kit should provide a tube with an ID that is smaller and provide a snug fit than the OD of the fitting.

Basically you make sure the bleeder screw is easy to move. There should be a 1/3 to 3/4 turn from open -->close. You close it just enough, put the tube on the end and then create vaccuum. When you stop seeing bubbles or a change in color (I use ATE Gold and Blue) while still applying vaccuum tighten the bleeder. Pull the hose and spec tighten the bleeder. Repeat for the four corners. Obviously you will have to make sure the brake fluid reseviour is full or you will create additional headaches.
