lose backpressure. I know 300Z turbo guys can benefit, but we are not talking turbo's here, does an SC great enough flow for a 3" to benefit, who has a actual proof of the 3" benefiting a SC, not just feel of the pants, even a Gtech will help. Thanks

I recall Cattman dynoing a 2.5" vs a 3" pipe and finding no difference in fwhp... I could be mistaken but I'm almost sure of it.

3"

i am almost willing to bet that it would help the engine perform better at wide open throttle.

I will keep the source private for now, but I got a definite response that a 3" Y-pipe dynoed lower than a 2.5" Y-pipe did on a supercharged car. The theory of reason is that the tubing is too large and the exhaust tumbles through it rather than flowing. I was very surprised in this because I thought about moving up to the 3" Y-pipe for my car.
