Clear sides: Multiple manufacturers/quality, or same mfr w/ different distributors?

Do you get the same quality everywhere?

I just saw a post w/pics from upstatemax about Custom Maxima clear side markers: the retention clips were completely rusted through.

If you go somewhere else will I get better quality, or do I just end up with the same "Custom Maxima" part sold by someone else?

Any references on a source for better quality clear sides (if there is one)?

If you do buy them... Just don't get through CM... they are just plain scum.

I think Redline carries them, give them your money if you throw it away on them.

I also think some people sprayed them in rust inhibitors to help maintain them. But I still think it is a gamble. If it does fall out, it can couse a lot of damage to your bumper.
