Invest in the big 3, then learn that you don't need a cap

Caps are bandaid solutions to a bigger issue. They are being sarcastic b/c we get about one of these threads a week.

Power Acoustic is a cheap brand. I would never own anything by them personally, including a cap.

Why are you wanting a cap? Is there an issue with your system that makes you think you need one?

Your questions were already answered. With or without sarcasm is included, they were answered.

If we weren't in this forum, I'd say the big 3 are: *****, bootie and coochie

Maybe you're a leg man, but personally, I'm a "woman who can't say no" man.

Seriously though, upgrade the wiring known as the "big 3" and you won't need a cap. Big 3 = battery + to alternator, battery - to chassis and engine block to chassis.

yea im kickin out well 1800 actually because of the way mine are wired..........ive got two "power acoustik" **** series subs, both dual 4 ohm voicecoils.....i have them wired for an impedence of a 2 ohm load, and i have them wired to a Power acoustik class D A2400DB. That amp has a total RMS max load of 1800 watts at 1 ohm. i have both my 2 ohm wired subs, wired to a 1 ohm impedence on the mono amp

and then for my speakers...i have one 4 channel amp driving my componants, and my two way speakers. they each have a 2 ohm impedence on each channel, allowing me 130 watts per channel...or something close to it....i think its more like 125 watts per channel

So to clarify your running all PowerAcoustik amps?

I dont want to seem like a prick, but I assure you that your are not receiving their "rated power".

oh its kool, but yea.....i know that most power acoustik amps do not achieve their rated RMS power...but as long as im close i DONT GIVE A DAMN

my 1800 watt subs may only hit at 1400 thats fine, and my speakers may only hit maybe 450 watts.but its all fine....just something BETTER THAN STOCK TO GET ME BY TILL I FINISH ACQUIRING WHAT I REALLY WANT...........know what i mean

As long as you are happy with the results, that is all that matters.
