are the gauge clusters for a 00/01 and a 02/03 swappable? i found a 02 set rather cheap and my 00s one is all messed up.

also i thought the 02 se gauges were all silver, not just the tach n speedo, the ones i saw the fuel n temp were black. maybe aftermarket tach n speedo?

 

I'm pretty sure they are not interchangeable - I recall a year or so ago someone tried and it didn't work. But don't quote me on it.

 

The wiring is completlely different. It's probably possible, but it would take some extensive time to figure out if it would actually work. And for the record, the SE guages on the 2k2-2k3 are silver on the tach and speedo, whereas the SE faces on the 2k-2k1's are all silver. Also, the faces on the 2k2-2k3's are all one piece, whereas the faces on the 2k-2k1's are 4 individual pieces.

 

alright i figured as much, seeing as the 02/03s have the second screen mounted in the tach, i thought that wouldnt work.

i found a 02/03 one at a great deal in the 5th gen 4sale forum. i guess i have no use for it.
