do a search. Or since you're a donated org member do a search on here for Auto RX. Last I remember hearing about it, it was a waste of money. But do a search before you post.

If your ride really has a problem with "carbon, oil sludge, dirt and other abrasives in your engine," a bottle of Auto-RX is not going to be a saubstitute for fixing what you really need....like rings or valve guides.

I used it with good results; no matter what anyone else on this forum says. To answer your question, no it's not available in retail stores - use the link to the website. I've used it in both engine and transmission and had real world, noticeable benefits.

I used AutoRX before switching to synthetic oil in February and I, too, have had good results.

The VQ is not a sludge monster, but I had some varnish in the crankcase and I cut the oil filter in half following the rinse phase (phase 2) and was surprised at the crap hung up in the filter media. I have owned the car since new and it had predominately highway miles on it, but I am still pleased.

The engine idles so quietly now that I literally can not hear it with the windows rolled up.

The primary benefits you will receive will be from cleaning the crankcase, engine internals and ring packs, as well as rejunvenating the oil seals.

Do two applications in a vehicle with 100K or more on the clock.

There is a code to use when ordering to get a discount. Someone posted it in another thread this week. If you can't find it join www.bobistheoilguy.com and get the code there.

Have you users experienced a lower oil consumption from Auto RX?

"This allows maximized combustion ratios, increased pedal response (acceleration/deceleration), reduction in braking distance, cooler oil temperatures while prolonging intervals between oil changes, cooler overall engine temperatures (greatly reducing the risk of thermal viscosity breakdown), overall stability of idle RPM range, and the gradual improvement of emissions by reducing the nitrogen oxide (NOx) levels up to 39.1% and carbon monoxide (CO) by up to 99.95%."

I find something wierd about a little metal piece in my gas tank doing all that stuff....sounds like bs to me. Plus the comment about adding 8-18% hp is weird too. Don't know who's bought that....
