00-01 owners w/ stillen classic front lip

I just recieved my body kit and was wondering if you can remove the fog light assemblies with the lip installed? I am possibly going to permanently mount the lip to a new bumper cover, but won't if the fog lights cannot be removed. Thanks.

You have to remove the lip to get the fog lights out.

I feel your pain. My whole lip kit will be off for the next year and a half until I move out of my condo. i have one of those driveways that are half driveway/half sidewalk so it is too steep no matter which way I drive up or down it. Do you have the ABS front lip? If so, you know how low that lip sits.

So are you saying that you need to remove the lip to access two screws or to physically remove the lamp from the hole in the fascia?

The lip gets in the way of the fog light when you are trying to remove it from the bumper.

Thanks, thats what I was wondering. I was trying to make the attaching a little simpler and use urethane epoxy to mount it on a new bumper, but not now. Thanks for the help everyone.

you don't have to remove the lip... you will have to be extremely careful and this is why is better to remove it. The fog assembly will scratch your paint when taking it out unles you put something that will protect the paint. I did once and no scratches to the lip.... but I did it once and it is not worth the time......
