is your 3" cat a rt cat? does it change the sound at all? i took my cat off last week and put a straight pipe there, but i feel like i lost backpressure and i really didn't feel any gains...(except sound)...i was thinking about putting it back on, but i'll trade you i guess...if the rest of my exhaust is 2.5", will a 3" resonator lose more backpressure

a 3" cat will give you more backpressure than having just a straight pipe, of course...
this cat is just like a stock one except its 3" in diameter which makes it "high flow".
so-called "high flow" cats are still OEM style w/ the honeycomb inside, they're just larger diameter...
if you have your stock 5th gen cat that hasnt been damaged at all or anything, i will trade you straight up for my stainless steel 3"...
i just need my car back to stock ASAP...
Email me if you wanna do this...
