Should I stock up on Apexi Filters?

Just recieved my Berk intake (plug for Berk- quick, great service, etc.) and I'm actually waiting to get the hesitation TSB done before I install the intake. I was wondering if I should stock up on these Apexi filters, seeing as you have to replace them and can't clean them. I'm *attempting* to keep this my low milage car, and use the civic as my daily driver, which means it could be a while in between filter changes etc.

Basically, I'm trying to get public opinion on what the risk is that the correct Apexi replacement filters will not be available 5+ years down the road. Do I stock up now, or do you think it's a safe bet that I can just pick them up as needed from now till the car goes to the boneyard?

And of course, if anyone has figured out a good way to clean these bad boys, please lemme know.

They're pretty expensive...i don't know about stocking up...why wouldn't they be available in 5 years? Apexi is a pretty solid company

i used compressed air to blow out the folds in mine. its most commonly sold in computer stores, to clean electronic equipment. while this will not blow out the dust stuck inside teh actual filter fibers, it will get rid of bigger particles that are clinging to the outside of the filter.
i thought about using a toothbrush, but this is probably a bad idea since it will fray some of the filter media, and will probably decrease the life of the filter.

yea these filters are expensive, not only that, they were tested with 3 or 4 other "better" filters and the apexi came out the cleanest

Apexi will be around for awhile. I would not stock up but just have an extra filter as back up.

That's pretty much the feedback I wanted- Apexi still around/maiking the filters in 5 years= me a happy camper.
