I just bought a used 87 Maxima.
Both the speedometer and odometer are not functioning.
Anyone know how to fix this problem? Would it be a fuse or something?
Thanks!

Usually this happens when the speed sensor goes bad. On the analog gauge models its built into the gauges. I believe the digital gauges get a sender.

Re: Had Mine Diagnosed

The speedo cable housing is on the rear of the transmission. If your cable is still there you could follow it to the housing. It might be a tight fit but it can be replaced.
