Sorry if this is a re-post but I was looking for a pic of the 6th Gen engine cover on a 5 / 5.5 gen. I saw it once before but was unable to track it down in the search. Any help... thanx in advance.

 

it looks the same but is a darker gray (almost black).
i know the thread that the pic is in but search is down right now. try later and search for "engine cover"

Great man... Thanx a lot for your help. I'm definitely going to get this. By the way I saw that it was listed for $56.00. Is that the price you paid or did you find it somewhere cheaper? I found a cat in the 6th Gen forum who "might" be selling his. I offered 50.00 shipped but don't know yet. Thanx again.

 

i paid like $61-ish...shipped too...list price was $55....got mine from Pinnacle Nissan...they do wholesale pricing, just like DaveB...there COULD be a possibility they raise their prices...but all Nissan parts go up...after a certain time...

I went to a Nissan dealership yesterday to get the 6th gen engine cover that Steven has and gave them the part number that he noted on his thread(14041-ZK00A). Well, what they showed me was the same cover as the one I have for the 5.5 gen but in black. The picture that Steven took of his cover looks different than the one they showed me.

 

You can take that one up with Jason (soonerfan). He's driving down here to pick it up.

 

how weird...that part # SHOULD work...I never knew 5.5 gen covers existed in black??

anyway, if it don't work....just ask them for a 6th gen maxima engine cover...you should be all set!

 

there is a cover like the 5th gen that is black...its on the murano

 

Z has the same engine cover as us
