I'm about to start changing the clutch soon, but there are a few VERY rust bolts, they look as though they're about to crumble. I've thought about using wd-40, but what are your thoughts on products that remove rust chemically? Would that be a better solution to removing rusty bolts?

 

well u could torch all of them...but use stuff called Thust Penetrating lube its about 100x better than wd-40 or any other penetrating oil i have used

 

i have no idea, id just take it to a shop if i were you but good luck

 

and then remove them with the stripped bolt remover tool thing

 

they could very hard to be removed. Good luck

 

butane torch was what made the trick for me.

 

Try PB Blaster. Much better than WD 40
