Yea alright fellas got a little problem here. I installed a new right axle last nite and obviously when the old one is pulled out all the old tranny fluid dumps out. so I drain the rest out install the new axle. now heres the problem, at my job (advance auto parts) the specifications to refill it was 10 quarts, and the Factory Service Manual (FSM) said the same thing, 10 quarts. OBVIOUSLY this was VERY wrong and im an idioit, but at about 9.5 quarts it started over flowing, and now the tranny is leaking at the seams. Its not as bad as last night, now its at a slow drip about every 15 secs and I just put in sum lucas tranny stop leak. so hopefully this does the trick and stopsthe leak because I dont feel like ripping open the tranny or even bothering a new. ALL ADVICE WELCOME and so is critisim i know I'm an idioit hah. thanks in advance.

Not all of the old fluid comes out. If this is an auto, you need to fill according to the dipstick. (10qts is about twice what a manual needs)
