Everytime I've down loaded the 1999 manual it does not work. It downloads fine but when I open the file it locks up my computer. What kind of software are you running it with?

bigballa97 - just DL'ed the 1997 manual and checked out the last file. It's fine. I'm using WINRAR version 3.51 and Adobe Acrobat 7.

Try re-installing Acrobat or WINRAR.

Well this is what it first tells me when i add the 1997_Maxima.rar downloaded file to winRAR(3.61). "1997_Maxima.rar: Unexpected end of archive".

When i click on the last file it says "1997_Maxima.rar: CRC failed in 1997_Maxima\el.pdf. The file is corrupt"

Yes, i did reinstall winRAR 3.61....Uninstalled, rebooted, and then installed
Any help will be appreciated!!

the downloading did not complete. You need to download some downloading management tools.

Just to clarify. What you are downloading is the Nissan Factory Service Manual, much bigger and better than the Haynes you can buy at AutoZone. Good to have both.

Personally, having looked at the Haynes, its garbage compared to the Nissan FSM. I've personally printed off my 99 FSM - into my huge binder. Great reference for the simple jobs (struts, belts, sensors, trouble shooting ECU codes).
