I was just wondering, what is the best time seen for a N/A 5pd Max? Has anyone ever broken into the 13's with their car? If you could please post you times.

I will be going to the track in a couple of months (its way too hot here in AZ right now).

I was hoping that I could break into the 14's with my car stock, but I don't know if she has it in her!!

The best I ran stock was 15.1, but that was with 17's and my Stillen Body kit. But I know others have hit 14.9's with a stock 5spd. The best I have ran with my SC with stock pulley is 14.5.

I think 4DSC (Adam) with his his SC ran "13.82 @ 101 w/ a 2.16 60'" So on a 5th gen I think he has the lead....so far........

Hey Adam how's it going? Hey what were your 60 ft. times and what was the outside temp. on the day you raced because I think you could do better than a 14.5 with your 5-speed. Next time you are in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area or I happen to be in Austin (and it's not raining) we should get together and race each other. Should be a good match up with your car and mine given that I have the torque converter now. My shop manager mentioned to me last week that he has something he wants to try with the intake on my car. He said it was some sort of alcohol fine mister that cools the intake air by like some 40-50 degrees and should add some 30-40 fwph to my car. He told me that they have been doing it in Europe for like 10 years now and it supposedly works great. I told him to get some more info and get back to me so as soon as I find out more I'll let you know. Oh yeah he also said the approx. cost would be $550-$650. Later.

I thought a while back someone ran a 14.38 with just an intake.

Does anyone remember the car?

What up Diedrek sorry for the spelling
I have also heard of the Alcohol cooling and I hear it works great and for about 600.00 its not that bad, while an intercooler can cost over 1000.00 easy for a custom one.
Well my 60' was 2.2 the outside temp was about 90's, yeah I had hoped to do better than that but I think the temp and humidity did not allow me. We do need to run next time we can meey up, we are looking at getting a meet up in Austin around Aug. Loren will be comming and a who ever else, look at the Texas site for more details maybe we can get together then. I would like to have a run and see the diff. shoot me an email I hope you still have the addr.

Hey it's spelled- Diederik. That's sounds great about the Austin meet. Shoot me an e-mail at dnmel@airmail.net when yall decide on a date and time. The high temps and humidity almost surely was the culprit for your high 1/4 mile times. Wait till the fall and run again and I bet you could break into the hight 13's.

How long does it take to install that oscai? I have a pregnant wife that demands my undivided attention at all times!! I think it would be great to get that from you. I am in! Are the pieces in good shape? Anyway let me know about the pieces, and depending on our schedules I might take you up on the offer to help me install the parts.
