Mul-T-Lock Gear Shift Owners lend me your ears....

I am intrested in purchasing this lock and i was wondering about fitment problems and installation issues with the steel support coming thru the middle console... Is there a way that the installer could make it look cleaner than what some of you have? Please post some pics if you have...

Thanks...

When you pull the cover off there is a diagram.

On the right side near the bottom there are three open spaces (on my '98 anyway) and the next fuse below the open spaces is the FPF.
