Well ive had my maxima for about two months now if not more and the monster truck ride heigh is starting to upset me.

Im in the market for new shocks and lowering springs. However im open to ideas whats a good Daily Driver set up, i want it to be responsive but not too stiff. I still want this to be a smooth ride. If you could also post pics of your set up and tell me how it rides that might help me decide on what i want. Oh and also please post a link or at least tell me where i can get the stuff your talking about, Thnx in advance.

 

A general guideline would be not to lower the front by more than 2 inches with coilovers or 1.5 inches with conventional springs/struts. Dropping the car too low will mess up control arm geometry and limit suspension travel (with conventional springs/struts.)

You will probably be better off asking this question in a generation specific section if you want to hear about particular products available and how they perform.
