Yes, good point, but when people spend 3-4 thousand to supercharge a car it's not a "grocery getter" anymore. They're out for speed, and road-kills. It just seems like a waste, but to each is own. I like the show aspect and potential of the car. If you want speed, look at a GS or a 540.

you gave the 14.5 number so you must be talking about an auto maxima because any decent SC 5spd maxima will be in the 13s somewhere I hope. I just dropped it a little to 14.2 which is what most GTPs run at my local track.

did you know that a SC Auto runs the same as a GS and a 540 but initial cost is less? why would you sell your auto maxima to buy a GS or 540 for more when you can just buy an SC?

oh and Sleeper runs 13.3 on stock boost with his Supercharged 5spd

A 5pd 5th gen with Intake and Y-Pipe would run with a 540 or GS. This at almost half the cost. With an SC on this same car you would beat a GS and auto 540 easily. Be a good race against a rare 540 6pd but I think the SC 5pd Max would take it once you hit 3rd. Even a Maxed out Max would only be a fraction of the cost of those two cars in question.

There is a guy on the .org who runs with a Supra Twin Turbo on the highway...Yam what else do you need to know? And I think he is a 4th gen SC...not sure though....

Oh, as for the Maxima being slow.. 540's / GS are about in the same general times as a SC Auto4thGen.. i think its a hair faster than a GS400(auto), but those 540's (manuals) got some mad tq.. (my cousins ride) .. should be tighter between a SC4thGen vs 540..

You know, for the price of either of those cars, you can almost get 2 of mine? The max is probably cheaper to insure too, and then u gotta think about luxury tax.. its just more affordable..
