Odometer, Shocks and TailLights

Hello Everybody! A have 3 questions about different issues:

1.- My Odometer isn't working. Sometimes I drive like 20 miles and then count only 3 and after that it got stuck, and after a while start counting again but only for 3 or 4 miles while actually I drive more that that. Does anyone know how to fix this? Can I do it myself, I never dissasembly the dashboard so I'm new on this. I'll appreciate if you know a link where I can find information about it.

2.- I really think I need new shocks cause I can feel every bump on the road, but I'm not sure if it's all 4 or not. The problem is that I don't want to go to pepboys or somewhere like that and get cheap shocks installed. I heard monroe and KYB are crap, and that Koni are the best. The problem is that I'm on a tight budget right now. which brand would you suggest without breaking the bank?

3.- One of my rear taillights has a crack on it, I'm planing to replace it but I like the TL of the 94 SE (I have the 90 SE) will it fit with no problems? because I think there's no aftermarket taillights for the 3rd gen right?

Thank you!

1-get new odo unit. it's just a little metal box with the rollers installed, some probably have chipped teeth. you have to take the whole cluster out and then replace the odo unit. it's not hard to figure out how to take the dash apart. refer to a service manual if you need.

2-probably just buy stock replacements and keep your stock springs. konis are a complete waste of money if you're not lowering the car.

3- they'll fit, centerpieces will mismatch though, get the correct centerpiece for what you lights you choose. no a/m lights (thank god)
