angel eye options for AE only

I've done plenty of searching on this whole topic but im unsure of what fits my AE due to their unique headlights. I love the look. Seems there is plenty of info on 02s+. It sounds like the $55 CCFLs are the way to go. Seems the Umnitza's are sweet but expensive and the $25 ebay ddes are a bit too cheap. Do the CCFLs require a hardwire fix similar to the Umnitza's? What will fit?

Again,
I'm only looking for input for an 01 AE headlight setup.
Thanks!

there is info for HIDs because there is actually a circle in the headlight housing.
what are you going to mount the lights on in your headlight?

the only thing that makes your AE "unique" is the color.
