what resistor for SRS airbag fool?

okay...not with my car right now otherwise I would use my multimeter to measure the resistance at the airbag harness to see what resistor is needed to fool the side airbags in the seats (got some nice heated, power, leather 350z seats...but found out they are the ones without side airbags)...oh well..I still have my fronts...lol

why don't you just stick a random resistor and give it a try; i doubt anyone would want to disconnect their airbags just to test for your and risk deploying them

well I just thought someone would know...I wasn't asking anyone to disconnect and test it...a random resistor...? do you know how many their are...I would have to get one with the exact resistance...

If they are similar to the 350z seat airbags then a search on "my350z.com" would bring up threads of what your looking for they do it as\ll the time

according to the 350z guys...it takes a 2.2ohm resistor to fool their side airbag harness...I wonder if our are the same...I will use my multimeter next time I am around my car...
