Front Brake Upgrade Questions

Alright, guys-
Next up on the ole' mod list is a front brake upgrade...Why? Because one of my stock calipers has a small leak, I will have some money when I get back from Christmas Break, and the winter is the time to tinker, since the Max is parked...

Pardon any obvious questions...I haven't had too much time to thoroughly read related threads, and am posting this on a break from studying for finals (machine design and hydraulic systems)...Just so we're clear, I am looking for a 2-piston front setup from a J30 or Q45.

1) I need to know ANY and ALL differences between J30 and Q45 calipers and rotors. Also, are the diameters the same as stock rotors?
2) Which setup is BETTER or what combination of parts is optimal?
3) Any requirements other than bolting-it-on for installation?

That outta start me off in the right direction. Will do some of my own research on the subject over Christmas, so thanks to any contributors!

Happy Holidays!
