IMO,if you are going to do the swap, one or two threads are not going to totally explain the process..

Just donate the $20,then you will have access to search all the threads ever made on the subject..

Don't put a Vg-5 speed in. Get a Ve 5 tranny.

I've gone through 3 trannies now.

4 years time. The 1st I did drive hard. The last vg, I drove it really easy in hope to SAVE IT. Now the ve one I have, I won't even try to break traction. Spent over 3500 in vg trannies because I didn't know how to rebuild them. NOW I DO!

I donated yesterday. I don't know why i didn't do it earlier. I found some posts from back in 2003. I was looking at my firewall from the inside of the car today.
drilling the holes for the Master cylinder parallel with the brake booster a good idea? I want to start preparing the car before i get the trans this weekend.

Donating is the best "mod" you have ever done to your car..

I wish i had mounted my clutch pedal over to the left more then I did. I took a template off my parts car, and it may have moved a little during drilling or something but my break and clutch pedals put my feet too close. It just feels unnatural with my feet 1/8in apart...

My 240sx is great, as is my friends converted altima, I told him that and he put it over to the left a lot more and its pretty comfortable.
