Strange sound coming from brand new pads and rotors...
I did a brake upgrade to my 5th gen today. When I went for a test drive to start seating them in they were doing great until I came to the initial stop. The brakes make no noise until the car physically is at 0mph. The noise sounds like the pads are grabbing the rotors with metallic sandpaper (absolutely terrible). I'm thinking they just need to be seated all the way but I just wanted to make sure I didn't do something completely wrong.
All 4 rotors are making this noise. I replaced the rotors with slotted ones from Automax_95, used Axxis PBR pads in front and rear and replaced the lines with Goodridge. Out of all the brake jobs i've ever done I've never heard this noise, even using metallic pads.
I closed up shop for the night and figure i'll tackle it in the morning. Thanks for any advice!

i just seated mine in last week for a good 30-45 min of warming them up, seating them , then cooling and then just teasting them out. mine made a crapload of noise in the beginning. i thought something was actually wrong but it went away. idk what your problem is but if it continues, i hope u fix it
