I have forsale a HID retrofit on 1 peice cefiro headlights.

Items I used for the retrofit are...
-1 peice black cefiro headlight
-BMW E39 projectors
-misc. bolts, sealant

The reason Im selling is because I dont like the fitment of the cefiro headlight. There is a gap on the side and I dont like it.

As many of you know...it is very difficult to retrofit projectors. The total investment of time I put into these is about 16 hours. It took me approximately 8 hours assembling it...then I opened them back up twice takeing 4 hours each time to fix the aiming.

What is included is the headlight assembly meaning the cefiros with the projectors.

Price: $500 + shipping

or
$350 + shipping of headlight assembly (cefiro headlight with projectors mounted)
$150 + shipping of ballasts, bulbs, and igniters (hella gen 3 ballasts+igniter)

note...i am missing the one of the inner mounting bolts of the passenger headlight. what i did to remedy this was find a bolt that screwed in, cut it so it fit then bolted it on. This bolt will be included.

 

bump to the top...this is a really great deal for someone who wants retrofits but doesnt want the hassle of retrofiting

this is a really great deal...and agian the only reason im selling is because i dont like how the cefiro headlights have the gap on the side.

Where's the gap your talking about?

 

the headlights are pending sale right now...but if it falls through then u got it.


if u look closely where the corner of the headlight meets the front driver fender. There is a gap. a lot of ppl put rubber sealant here and it looks pretty good but idk im picky...so thats why im selling. Its nothing major but i notice little things like this.

 

to answer some questions; prasamin i think that the tail lights he has are the altezza type 2 or 3 my lil bro has them on his 99 and, maxedout the gap is at the top back corner of the light where it meets the top of the fender this is why when you swap to cefiero's lights that are made for an I-30 not a max you need to do some body filling or use some weather stripping.

the tail lights are altezza gen 2. It looks sick! at night but in the day it looks too ricer. the LED ring is very visible though even in the day!

thanks alot for the info! got any idea where I can get them from for a 96 GXE? (the tails)? I like how they look at night with the rings, but yeah, it would be nice to see how riced they look during the day.

 

96...too bad. they are only for 97-99

 

to put the gen 2 tails on a 96 you need to get a 97-99 trunk I beileve the outside tails are the same
