Want to trade the D2 coilovers out of my car for stock suspension, or a smooth spring/strut combo+ cash.
I sold the car to one of my really good friends and he's trying to get it back to a smoother ride.

Must be able to drive and swap suspension out with me or we could work out something...
I could possibly put the car on jack stands for a few days....

I have stock 1996 SE suspension w/ about 75k miles on them. Also have Illuminas w/ S-Techs used for 5.5-6k miles. I could ship you either and can wait for the D2s then you would have no downtime to worry about.

The stock suspension obviously has cosmetic blemishes but the springs are in good condition and none of the struts are blown.

The Illumias are in great condition. Again, slightly dirty from use but do their job without flaw. The S-Tech springs are also in great condition.

Also, what is the condition of the D2s? How many miles were put on them?

The D2's are a little dirty, but i'm going to clean them up before I send them out to anyone... They have about 9K miles on em.
PM me how much you're willing to throw in+ the S techs and illuminas... He decided he didn't want to go with stock suspension because he want's it to still be lowered.

Well I don't know what to do at this point.
Pretty much it's to either Freeway or 86maxima96 IF he can match freeways offer.
I really don't want to start a bidding war, and I would love to give a decent deal to someone.
So if you two want to work it out, that works for me :-)... Because you two pretty much have the exact same setup...
So far it's 200+the strut/spring setup.
At this point I can't really have any more than a day or two down time on the car.... So I would need the strut/spring setup to be shipped to me and I'll swap out the D2's and ship them the same day I take them off.

Also, just to let you guys know, if you decide to go with different spring rates in the future, I can give you well below wholesale prices on the springs.

So at this point, I guess you guys decide who wants em more??

Like I said, I don't want to start a bidding war, but now that I looked at the thread 86maxima96 technically posted first, but freeway PM'd me first once I posted a response....

and blackmaxx, just to verify the condition of these, they have no problems? no noises and none are blown? the threads on the shock body are good and allow for smooth spring seat adjustment?

 

Yeah they're in good shape.
The only think that's given me noise since i've put em on was the axle... but that was replaced.

I've adjusted heigh and preload MANY times and it's been perfectly fine...
Like I said, they're dirty of course, but i'm going to clean them up real good before I package them up.
