What are you talking about? 95-96 have their own lights and 97-99 have the other set. Any year 97-99 lights fit each other and the same for 95-96. There really is no 4/4.5 gen.

 

To get the 97-99 tails to fit into a 95-96 you need to redo the back end. So it depends on how bad you want the 97-99 tails because you'll need more parts then just the taillights.

 

what would you have to do to redo the back end? does anyone have any general instructions?

 

I believe trunk and MAYBE the bumper..Not sure iff you need the bumper too to fit them but the 97-99 rear bumper is longer
