New winter shoes for the Maxima

Picked up some winter shoes for the Maxima for a really good deal (thanks RMTC)
215/55/16 Blizzak WS-50's mounted to '99 16" steelies.

They don't look the best, but I'd rather have ugly wheels during the winter than my car wrapped around a pole. Maybe I should black out my grille and my corners now

You should throw on your wheels on the back only and look like a Honda J/K but seriously hubcaps

If I were you I would def. go to Wal Mart and hit up those spinner hub caps! Don't worry about a dress up in the winter, Steelies are fine.

My thoughts exactly. Got to test them a little this evening in a minor dusting and I can tell they are far superior in these conditions than my Toyo Proxes 4's. And from what they're saying, we'll have a few inches for me to try them out in come morning.

Yeah, can't wait to try them out in a little while when I drive to work. Taking people about 3x's as long to get around here, so I'm curious.

I FUKING LOVE THESE THINGS!!! Best $100 I've ever spent. My normal 25 minute drive (dry) took about 35 minutes. I was passing semi's, suv's, changing lanes with no issues at all. I went by Chipotle to grab a bite before work, but they were closed and they had a nice virgin parking lot with about 4" of snow to plow through. The grip is fantastic and they never really slipped at all, even pulling away from a stop. What I'm really pleased with is the stopping grip as well. Every other tire I've had in the winter has always "slid" a little coming to a stop, no matter how much brake I use, but not with these, they just gripped and I stopped.

Top Notch! 10/10 IMO.
