Do they all have the gap in between? I didn't have one with my kenwood double din.

 

I'm pretty sure you did since all double dins are the same size. it's either going to be on top or on the bottom. Maybe you didn't notice as much since the kenwood sticks out more than the eclipse (I had a kenwood previously). I have a trim piece that came with the avn6600 that is cut to fit around the radio...it's a little bit better.

 

wish i could get this, would need a way to get rid of my 5435....

I had the 5435 before...good unit but this one is way nicer.

 

what dash kit do u have cause the unit I have the 7017 kenwood I have no gap at all. I'll post pictures tonight but u could even put the tip of a pen in the spaces around my unit. I like this unit and will probably get this or a similar model, but I can't have a huge gap cause it just doesn't look as clean to me.
