FS: B.C. Coilovers *Brand NEW*

I have ONE sets of Boss Chen coilovers for the A32 4th gen. I'm moving to a larger facility and need to get these out. Both sets are brand new in
original packaging. (i'll have to check on the coloring. It's either gold or silver)

Features:
8kg front / 6kg rear spring rates
Oil with mixed gas shocks
Rebound adjustable, fixed compression
Powder coated steel lower brackets for strength
Aluminum strut body and spring perches
Ride height adjustable without affecting suspension travel
Aluminum rear shock mounts, fronts require your OEM strut housing assembly

NOTE: these coilovers are designed for comfort. Increasing the spring rates will dramatically affect the ride quality negatively. Intentionally slamming the ride will also have the same effect on other components of your suspension. Please consider your usage prior to the purchase. I can direct you towards a more suitable coilover company if you'd like to discuss it more in depth on PM's

$800 local pick-up ($900 installed by a local member)
$850 shipped with Money Order
$880 shipped via paypal
These are normally $925 shipped and a one time only deal.

I have good feedback and have been a long standing member on the org.

The springrates for one of MANY differences. D2's run a 9/7 setup.

This is perfect timing Larry, I'm actually in the market for a new suspension. A few questions for you...

1) AKA twin-tube, right?
2) How is it adjusted?
3) Does the lower part of the strut body spin up/down the threads to adjust height or do you adjust the preload to change ride height?

1. Yep, twin-tube
2. Adjusted in two ways: strut body position in relation to the lower bracket and also preload changes

Usually you set the pre-load and leave it alone and adjust ride height by raising/lowering the strut body. This way you can change the ride height without affecting the suspension travel.

Sorry, no 6th gen maxima applications.

papo99: D2's have adjustable rebound and compression shocks, use aluminum lower brackets, a pillowball upper mount, and a allen head clamp-type system to hold the shock instead of the B.C. sleeve/locking collar. D2's are purple also.

I can answer since I just received my BCs an hour ago, thanks Larry!

The complete package weighs 51.5 pounds. That includes the box, packing material, adjusting wrenches, so all four coilovers combined weigh 50lbs or just a tad under. They are considerably lighter than stock, which I think is closer to 75 lbs. Less unsprung weight FTW.

Ah, glad you got them already! Let me know if there are any problems. I hope you got the owner's sheet I emailed to you.

Yes, they are adjustable via a threaded shock body and collars just like most coilover assemblies. The locking design in the front is slightly different. There is a inverted tube that goes in from underneath for extra security.
