This is something I was just wondering about. I have no idea if I am ever going to do it, but I just wanted to get your input as to whether it is worthwile. I have a 2000 Maxima GLE with an automatic. I just picked up a supercharger kit and I am planning on doing a 5 speed swap. It is spossible to swap a 3.5 into a 5th gen, right? If I do this swap, could I possibly swap the 6 speed as well instead of doing the 5 speed? What is involved in both of these swaps and how much would it cost? Just throwing it out there.

 

I would personally keep/get the 5MT.

OK, but I have searched all over here and yet to see 5th gen with a 3.5 swap. Is it possible? It seems like everything on here with a swap is a 4th gen. Do you just swap the whole 3.5 or are there parts of the 3.0 that get switched over? Sorry for all the questions.
