Cam Plunger: 3.0 vs 3.5 same?

Well the stinking black plastic guide to the plunger on the secondary chain broke while I was removing it. Is the the 3.0 the same as the 3.5 or would i need to go get a new one from the sdealership? Thanks in advance...
